Honey from national cooperatives and producers, never blended honey of unknown origin.
Portuguese hot honey · In a squeeze bottle
Portuguese honey. Portuguese chilli. Nothing else. In a bottle you squeeze, to put on top of everything.
The ingredient list
Most hot honey is blended honey with imported chilli extract, oil and vinegar to "help". Ours does not need help.
Honey from Portuguese beekeepers, origin documented by lot. Sweet first, always.
Chilli grown in Portugal, infused and filtered. The heat arrives two seconds later, clean, no bitterness.
How to use
Flip-top cap, inverted bottle, squeezes at room temperature. No spoons, no sticky jars, no apologies.
Taste
First the honey. Two seconds later, the chilli. Never bitter, never burns. Just enough to make you squeeze again.
Medium heat. Made for every day, not for proving courage.
Portugal, end to end
Not just the honey. The honey, the chilli, the production and the bottling. All in Portugal, all documented by lot.
Honey from national cooperatives and producers, never blended honey of unknown origin.
Portuguese chilli, dried and infused. No imported extracts pretending.
Bottled in a registered facility in Portugal, with every lot and every ingredient traceable.

Questions
Medium. You will feel it, but it is made to go over the whole pizza, not just a corner. Flavour first, heat after.
Yes. No seed oils, vinegar, added sugar, preservatives or flavourings. If that ever changes, it changes on the label first.
Real honey can crystallise in the cold. Keep it at room temperature, away from the fridge. If it thickens, a warm water bath fixes it.
Because hot honey goes on top of things, not on a spoon. Inverted bottle, flip-top cap, no drips, no sticky jar on the counter.
Not yet. The first batch goes to independent shops in Lisbon and Porto and to direct orders. Leave your email above and we will let you know.
